4-Strand Chopper

Usually mounted on the High-Volume Chopper Gun, it easily achieves 30% glass content and a resin flow rate of 38 pounds (17kg) per minute, depending on materials. The Chopper comes with a heavy duty, 1/2-horse power air motor and a standard size rubber roller. Extra torque allows chopping of 3 or 4 strands at a faster rate than standard choppers achieve. This relatively heavy chopper should be mounted on an automatic carriage to prevent operator strain.
