From April 1, we welcomed a new colleague at CTP. That is why we would like to introduce him to you.
Who are you?
My name is: Marc Zuur. I am 20 years old. The school I attended is: first service technician maintenance at the Da Vinci College Dordrecht. My hobbies are: football and fitness. I play in the selection at Peursum and I am also a trainer / coach of the JO13-1 at Peursum. Besides being a football player, I can also be found in the gym 5 days a week. I have been working for 5 years now. I started with a work-learning education. This means that you work 4 days and 1 day of theory. After that I just went to 40-hour working weeks. In recent years, my focus has been mainly on developing myself in the field for which I have studied.
Why did you choose CTP?
I chose CTP because it made me feel good. Before I even worked there or heard of CTP, I was approached by them. After the first interview they had a job in Belgium and asked if I wanted to go on the job to see how it is. After the job in Belgium, I walked for 1 day at the shop and did maintenance on a machine. After these days I was convinced. That’s how I got to CTP.
What expertise do you bring along?
I can work independently but also with several people. I am a hard worker. During my work I try to pick-up new things as quickly and accurately as possible. I am eager to learn in the profession where I now work.
What added value do you have for customers?
I am a nice guy who is open to a nice chat. Ultimately, I make sure that the machine is left in a neat and good working order so that they can work with it for many hours again.
What do you notice during your first months at CTP?
There is a good structure, everyone knows what the person can do and also knows what he / she means in the group. My work at CTP is very different and that is also something I enjoy at work. The work varies from office, workshop or on the job. The assignments also contain variation. This means that we sometimes have to build a whole new machine, or that customers deliver a machine and that we modify it the way the customer wants. it’s a really nice group of people to work with!
Where is your ambition for the coming years?
My ambition for the coming years is to gain as much knowledge as possible about the machines, materials & products.
Your colleagues wish you lots of fun and success at CTP!
