Magnum Venus Products provides choices of fiber dispense equipment depending on material being used.

Description

These materials can include, and are not limited to, fiberglass, carbon fiber, Kevlar/armid fiber, etc. The type of fiber, and corresponding tensioning equipment, is typically offered in one of the following three options:

ROVING CREEL PACK

Winding strand creel pack shall be provided, capable of handling winding strands and back-up roving balls as required. Also provided are eyelet guides and roving tensioners at end of winder frame. Primary tensioning is done at the carriage by pneumatically controlled tensioner operated from the control panel. Standard creel to provide 60 strands payout with an additional backup 60 strands tied/attached to the 60 feed spools

MECHANICAL FIBER TENSIONERS

The mechanical tensioners compensates for spool diameter, spool inertia and friction. The tensioners will take up a limited slack during static conditions. It will maintain tension in a stall condition indefinitely, or at high speeds. Tensioners are accurate in payout mode. Tension range from 5lbs. (2.3kgs) – 20 lbs. (9kgs).

Spools are attached with an mechanical expandable core. Expandable shafts to accommodate spool weighs of up to 20 pounds. Spool creel could be enclosed to assist in containment of airborne fibers as fiber is being unspooled. Fiber tension is set mechanically prior to winding.

PROGRAMMABLE ELECTRONIC FIBER TENSIONERS

The electronic tensioners compensates for spool diameter, spool inertia and friction. The tensioners will take up unlimited slack during static conditions. It will maintain tension in a stall condition indefinitely or at very high speeds. Tensioners are very accurate in both the take up and payout mode. Tension range from 5lbs. (2.3kgs) – 20 lbs. (9kgs).

Spools are attached with an expandable core. Expandable shafts to accommodate spool weighs of up to 20 pounds. Spool creel could be enclosed to assist in containment of airborne fibers as fiber is being unspooled. Fiber set tension is set and monitored with MVP tensioning control system. Fiber breakage and faults would be detected, and pause the winding patterns when required.
